The Senior Primary Choir was especially busy this year. Their first important performance was ATKV Applous, where they were highly commended and obtained a silver certificate. They received an A at the Kunswedstryd later in the year.

After their camp, the choir auditioned for the national competition, Sing in Harmonie, where they performed Maria se Loflied and A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. They went through to the next round of the competition on 10 October. They also performed at the Old Girls’ Reunion. The choir has also been screened on the kykNET channel on television.

The choir accompanist, Mrs Ester van der Merwe, said she was ‘super duper’ proud of the choir and actually thought they had a chance to win Sing in Harmonie.  The choir ended in third  position, an achievement that is really a feather in the cap for everyone involved with the young choir. The judges said that Maria se Loflied and a Million Dreams gave them chills down their spines.
