The tranquil setting of the Free State Botanical Gardens, together with the beautifully laid tables formed the perfect backdrop for a classy breather before the looming June exams.
For a short time everyone was transported back to a time when the highlight of the day was teatime. The matric ladies arrived in style, decked out in breath-taking outfits, complemented by romantic hairstyles, make-up and jewellery. As always, the sneakers that the girls wore with their elegant dresses added a bit of humour.
After a short but inspiring address by Mrs Imelita van der Berg, the ladies enjoyed tea served in exquisite porcelain cups. The delicious refreshments had them returning to the tab.
