Who are you?

The question about their identity presented itself in many of the activities that the Grade 9 ladies took part in. These adventurous activities included hiking, completing an obstacle course and Bible study sessions. The fundamental question for them centered around the point that the young ladies are now at a stage in their lives where they need to start making their own life choices.

Swimmers stretch out their arms to reach their goals

After a year of not being able to compete in the pool due to the pandemic, the swimmers were back and ready for action at the Inter-house Gala – their perseverance, love for, and dedication to the sport brought them back.

Founders’ day a day of remembrance

The annual Founder’s Day celebrations kicked off in different phases at different venues. The FET phase started at the chapel where Mr Van Wyk announced awards to Jasmine Ali, Boitshepo Mogapi, Tayla Dlodlo, Boitumelo Mtsatse, Bonolo Lehoko, Keabetswe Mokhuoa, Khanya Sidinele and Illiana Stevens. The awards were handed over by the chair lady of the Old Girls Commission, Ms D Riche.

SMS celebrates honour and success

The honours dinner of 2022 was a graceful evening filled with knowledge, history and unexpected heartache as Mrs Imelita van der Berg, the guest speaker, announced that she would be retiring at the end of this year.
