SALE OF WORK. These words spark many emotions in the St Michael’s family. This event is a living history; the Sale of Work was founded by the sisters of St Michael’s who used their hands to create products that they could sell to the community to raise funds for the school.

THE SOUTH AFRICAN INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS COMPETITION (SAIMC) held in Durban in August was attended by Yi-Xuan Wu, Tinya Chuang and Fiona Lee. Earlier in the year they competed in three elimination rounds against other young mathematicians from all over the Free State and Northern Cape to be selected for the team to participate in the SAIMC competition.
Market Day improves entrepreneurial skills
THE CACOPHONY of sounds, smells and colours of a classic market, met buyers when they entered the Jubilee Hall on Market Day. There were over 37 stalls, selling from delicious doughnuts and pop corn to books and jewellery.
